PCR only 50% accurate

Image
Kenapa lah doktor doktor di seluruh dunia terlalu bodoh tidak mau percaya dengan kajian oleh Doktor China. Sampai sanggup menunggu berminggu minggu untuk test PCR yang bukan accurate, cuma 50% sahaja. https://www.timesofisrael.com/top-health-ministry-official-casts-doubt-on-accuracy-of-virus-test-on-hot-mic/ Top Health Ministry official casts doubt on accuracy of virus test on hot mic While talking to head of public health services prior to press conference, Moshe Bar Siman-Tov says PCR tests only 70% accurate By TOI staff 1 April 2020, 6:31 pm Health Ministry Director General Moshe Bar Siman-Tov is seen at a drive-through site for coronavirus testing samples collection, in Tel Aviv, on March 20, 2020. PCR test is not accurate

Deccan Herald: People who test negative might also have coronavirus: Study. https://www.deccanherald.com/science-and-environment/people-who-test-negative-might-also-have-coronavirus-study-823952.html https://www.deccanherald.com/science-and-environment/people-who-test-negative-might-also-have-coronavirus-study-823952.html "They could also be used to help diagnose a person who is currently infected but whose PCR test results showed a false negative, by waiting a week or so for the body to produce its immune response." Ertinya, rapid test lebih baik dari PCR test yang di pakai oleh KKM. Apa lagi yang sudah lebih seminggu. Tiada guna sudah. immunity certificate

Image
" However, coronavirus testing has so far had mixed success around the world. Spain was recently forced to return tens of thousands of rapid coronavirus tests from a Chinese company after they were found to provide inconsistent results." Wrongly used. antibody test should be used 7 days after infection so not good for early detection. More accurate than PCR after 7 days, because PCR require lung sample, not throat sample. "Some tests have also reportedly demonstrated false positives, detecting antibodies to other, much more common coronaviruses." False positives can be addressed by backing up with PCR testing at the lung. To make it safe, better have PCR testing at both lung and throat samples, and retested when symptoms appear or after 1 week. So the immunity certificate should only be valid for 1 week with PCR and rapid testing, only 1 day for rapid testing.                      ...

German Exception?

Success: " A 22-year-old man who had no symptoms but whose employer — a school — had asked him to take a test after learning that he had taken part in a carnival event where someone else had tested positive. In most countries, including the United States, testing is largely limited to the sickest patients, so the man probably would have been refused a test." WHO does not recommend testing. Only those with symptoms, and even Malaysian official policy is to test those that have symptoms. Fortunately, Malaysia has many exceptions, such as  the Tablig clusters.  Admission of failure: "All those who had returned to Germany from Ischgl, an Austrian ski resort that had an outbreak, for example, should have been tracked down and tested, Professor Streeck said." He should have mentioned the very first case. Wuhan should have been quarantined, at least self-quarantine the moment the disease was known, not when it was confirmed that it can transmit from...

tests curb coronavirus pandemic

“We had a true negative rate of 100% — zero false positives,” It is not sensitive but if used properly and well calibrated, it can be used as front-line tests. Its antibody tests can also be used for other purposes, to detect those who are immune but this needs careful consideration and further tests to ensure that their bodies are really no longer infective.     https://www.nature.com/articles/d41587-020-00010-2     NEWS 23 March 2020 Update 07 April 2020 Update 06 April 2020 Update 01 April 2020 Fast, portable tests come online to curb coronavirus pandemic Testing kits delivered by courier and digital tools combine to battle the COVID-19 outbreak. ...
